No, I did not vote for him. Yes, I’m a black female. But I don’t hate him. I feel sorry for the man more than anything. I don’t know him personally but my opinion, he has no compassion. And that’s a HUGE reason why I didn’t vote for him. But he’s our president now. My problem with Trump haters is not that you hate Trump, but that you do exactly what you hate about him. You send HATE. You send FEAR. There is no COMPASSION. FEAR FEEDS FEAR.
I think America needs Trump. As crazy as that sounds. We are so divided, separate, and it has nothing to do with Trump. We were divided before he even came into office. You can’t even support him without getting ostracized for it. Trump supporters vs. non-Trump supporters. Sending hate to non-supporters. That’s dividing us. Do you not see that?? Exactly what you hate Trump for. We’re all HUMAN, right? We’re all ONE, right? Or is it only when it fits your agenda? Sending hate towards Trump supporters, towards Trump, out in the universe, will not make anyone be more compassionate. It will not make anyone more loving. It will make people want to retaliate that’s what it will do.
Be light. Be a positive example. Have FAITH. No, you do not have to agree with him, heck, I don’t agree with him, protest all you want, but you don’t have to be hateful. PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH. This is the perfect time to do that. We don’t know how it’s going to be these next four years and that’s what scares us. But that’s because we don’t have FAITH. Faith and positive thinking goes a loooooong way. If there’s anything I learned these past three years, it’s that.
I just needed to get that off my chest. After reading about Chrisette Michele it pissed me off. She doesn’t need to explain herself. If she wanted to perform, let the lady perform.
