One of my favorite songs to listen to when I need uplifting (and just because haha). It just reminds me to focus on what I do have. The everyday things that I take for granted. When you’re going through a difficult time, it’s easy to focus on what you DON’T have, which actually makes your situation worse. But I understand completely. When the default setting for your mind is negative (like mine), it takes a lot of work to change it. It’s a battle. Your mind is constantly telling you what’s wrong, what you don’t have. And you have to tell your mind NO! I do have this to be grateful for and I have this and that. Having to do that everyday is exhausting. I’ve learned to let those negative thoughts flow. Don’t fight them. Keep the faith and let the negative thoughts that come to your mind float on. It’s negative energy leaving your body.
