Just a little something I wrote and I wanted to share. It’s so simple, but so painful to do some times. If some emotion has been triggered, sit with it and feel it. That’s how I’ve healed. Those emotions are letting you know about something that’s going on within that needs attention. I spent most of my life ignoring my emotions and just going off on people when I was triggered. Which caused a lot more problems. Now when I am triggered, I go sit with them and feel them, process what’s going on, then I talk. Not so easy when it’s a heavy emotion, but we have to feel it or else it just sits in our body and weighs us down.
